Whippoorwill Campground is a beautiful wooded campground conveniently located just 3 miles from Ocean City, New Jersey.
With a sanded playground, pool, kiddie pool, arcade, and weekend themed activities, Whippoorwill is family friendly and filled with fun! Our roads are paved with sand/gravel campsites with 30/50 amp electric and water, as well as full hookup sites with sewer. We also offer rustic waterless cabins sleeping 5-6, with a pet friendly option to bring your pet!

Ways To Stay
RV/Tent Sites
Whether camping in a camper or tent, enjoy wooded and shaded sites with a picnic table and fire ring.
Whip offers two types of campsites: Standard RV/Tent Sites (water/electric) or Deluxe RV Sites (water/electric/sewer). Both site types include 30/50 amp electric, water, cable-TV, parking for two vehicles, and two adults and two children.
Waterless Cabin Rentals
No camper? No problem! Located directly next to our main bathhouse, stay in our waterless rustic cabins with AC/Heat and pet-friendly option.
Our cabins sleep 5-6 people in a bunk style interior with a refrigerator, dresser, microwave, Keurig and TV. With a front screened porch, there is space for dining as well as a picnic table, fire ring, and charcoal grills.
Gas Saver Program
Set up your camper on your favorite site one time, and with two paid discounted nights you can enjoy five unoccupied and unplugged nights parked on your site for FREE!
Gas Saver Program is offered with a four week minimum during Spring (April 3-June 21) & Fall (September 4-October 25). Lock in to your favorite site and if needed, pay a small fee to remain plugged in during the week!
Annual (Long-Term)
With open annual sites and campers for sale already on property, make Whip your home away from home!
Annual full hookup sites include 30/50 amp service, cable-TV, water, sewer, electric*, winter leaf removal, winter storage on site, and two adults and two children under 18. Campers must be 10 years or newer, with management approval.
